I was reminded of this yesterday, but since it’s almost easter stores are selling easter liles again.

EASTER LILIES ARE EXTREMELY POISONOUS TO CATS

If they ingest any single part of the plant they’ll start to get sick, and eventually if you don’t get them to the vet fast enough, their livers will fail and they will die quite painfully.

I’ve seen this happen before to a friend’s kitten and it’s really horrible, so please please please, if you’ve absolutely gotta have an easter lily in your house, make sure there’s no way whatsoever that your cat will come into contact with it.
